When do I pay for Shipping?

Shipping will be charged during the pledge manager with Backerkit. This will allow us to better represent and charge accurate costs at the time of shipping.

Can I purchase add-ons?

No, Project EOS Rise is designed from ground up with the best quality of components in the box. By only having a single core game box we eliminate unit complexity and that gives us the best chances to successfully have the game arrive at your doorstep.

Will I have to pay VAT and when?

VAT will be added onto orders with EU addresses, based on their country’s general VAT rate. This will be charged in conjunction with shipping.

Why don’t you ship to my country?

Our shipping partners with years of experience shipping board game products around the world have advised us not to ship to certain countries for a variety of reasons. We regret it if it causes an inconvenience. You can always play the game online with our Tabletop Simulator mod.

What languages are available?

Currently Project EOS Rise is only in American English. However, we are aware of a large French fanbase supporting the game. Depending on our campaign success we will explore different translation options.

Will manufacturing be a problem?

We have spent years prototyping the game to make sure all the components and design elements feel and play exactly as we wish. We are expecting some slight adjustment on the wooden component shapes to create more durable components. But overall, we don’t expect manufacturing to be a major cause of delays.

Is there a retailer pledge?

No. We currently do not have plans to sell additional copies of the game at a retail level. The overflow of stock will exclusively be sold via our Ecom store.

Will this be released as a physical product?

If the stars align and everything goes according to plan the game should begin fulfillment in August or September of 2023.

How do I contact you?

The Kickstarter messaging system will provide the most direct customer service link until the project is completely fulfilled. Please try to keep your message to a single source (kickstarter) as to not confuse or get lost in the jumble. Can I get a refund?

We will look at refunds on a case by case basis once the product arrives at your location. All potential refunds of campaign funds and shipping costs are given at the discretion of FlipSide Games, reserving the right to withhold transaction & processing fees. BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
